I gotcha.. I thought the class was all 3 in a row, but now that you mentioned it the instructor did mention something about it to make me think it's an upgrade.

I signed up for the extra class on long island that will end in May approx. So hopefully by then I will be a hammy.
Side note.. I just saw a channel 2 storm vehicle.. wondering if there's any storm chasers in this group. That rig was awesome.

I'm not sure really.. all I have is a cb, so I'm weighing my options. I want to have a wide range of options for comms. It would be awesome to put some military grade c omms in the truck.

With the fixed mount, are you able to transfer the units from truck to boat easily.. Like you're able to transfer a cb from truck to a base station? All you have to do with cb is unscrew the unit from the mount and unplug the unit and you could take it wherever.. Wondering if its the same...

Nice taco! I'm leaning towards one.. or a tundra, as my next rig. A guy at ford says mine is not worth sinking all the money it would cost to repair.. so I just went to toyota.
Anyway, happy trails!
Bergen county here as well. 2003 ford explorer Eddie Bauer, just getting started. No mods yet, but I have a bunch of camping gear. Anyone know where to go for parts/servicing? I go to rayco but their choices are somewhat limited. Hackensack springs will be doing my suspension work.. they were...
