Hey everybody.. long time no see!!! I posted this thread awhile back and kind of skipped out.
Since the post ive done mostly freediving and got into spearfishing. Got myself a small JBL 38 special speargun and have been hitting on fluke over here in NJ. Also invested in a bcd, reg, and tank...
As of right now, I only carry my dive knife which is a cressi giant knife. Although I am looking into getting an SOG survival shovel and probably a hatchet.. and a multitool.. and maybe a bowie knife.. cause thats not a knife THIS is a knife -lol- also looking i to the ontario MK2 cause navy...

Do you bring your scuba gear with you? What kind of gear do you have? What are your favorite inland sites to dive? Any hidden sites to dive? What are your top scuba destinations?
I am currently getting NAUI certified...
My father used to collect police patches.. and I got into it as well. We have a couple hundred all together, never counted. They're put away somewhere, so I can't take any pictures. I do have a collection of NASA patches in my terrestrial exploration module that I can take some pics of.

I've got an 03 Eddie Bauer explorer. Currently it's immobile. I think it has to do with the rear wheel bearings/axle and brakes. Basically when I give it gas the chassis moves but the tires don't budge. It's sitting in the parking lot of a local walmart because I really can't afford to fix it or...
I've got my fishing license and trout stamp all ready to go. taking hunter ed class in 2 weeks at black river.. my next step is to find a sponsor in new jersey for falconry. I'm always ready.. PM me, or text me.. 2012494137 oh yeah.. and my instagram is @06hyperion (im on quite often recently)
I found something to use as an extension.. And will probably use the short antenna. I may just call a steel fabricator and get them to rig something to the entire body. I'm not sure.. Here's a few more pics. Thanks for the suggestions.

Yes, it helps.. but isn't the am/fm already grounded? If it's secured to the am/fm base, then wouldn't it be grounded also?

Yes, i definitely need some suggestions. I haven't gotten my license yet, or bought any radios/antennas other than my cb. I like the mount because it would leave me a lot of room for other stuff on the rooftop. I want to get a multi band unit.. hf-uhf cw/ssb/am/fm and leave some space for other...
Here's a few pics. I want to put 6 more mounts on there, 8 total. I also put a shorter antenna on there and plan on keeping the others around the same size.

I haven't secured it yet.. will probably put a spring extension at the am/fm base.. and either weld it to that, or tighten it up so I could untighten it when I need the change trucks.
Want to put at least 8 antennas in the middle.. maybe some on the outside as well. Just getting ideas together...
I haven't hooked my cb up to it yet.. but do you think the two antennas would interfere with each other? Do you think I should run another cb for the second antenna? I want to put some ham radio antennas on there when I get my license.. Is it a good idea to have all these antennas on one mount...
Scratch the spring.. it's the summer.

Same here.. I'm by hackensack/teterboro. Nothing better than fresh snow in a wide open parking lot. I picked up my explorer about 2 months ago, its used with 185k miles. surprisingly it works well in the snow. I haven't taken it off roading yet and think it would cost a lot to just get it ready...
