Not sure about the USA but there are rules on flying drones, where you can fly them, how high you can fly them etc here in the UK.
We had Gatwick Airport shut down because of idiots using drones so like all things if adults can't play properly their toys get restricted...
Welcome to OB.
As stated previously the first thing to consider is the type of trips (overlanding) you and your family want to do.
Once you have that clear it is easier to work out your needs.
Our experience was modifying an ex military sankey trailer into an overland trailer to tow behind our...
Firstly apologies folks I am well aware I have been MIA from OB and the forums in recent months but sadly life and health have been getting in the way and throwing a spanner in the works.

Hi George And Charlotte,

Welcome Jaco from Scotland.
I've spent many years working in Africa but only really overlanded in Namibia and North Africa.
Look forward to following your trips and progress
Hi Robert welcome to OB.
Whilst OB started in the US I can assure you there is a big active OB Community out with the USA.
I'm jealous you are getting to spend so much time in Mongolia exploring. How are you getting there, is it an overland trip to get there?
We drove there from the UK back in...
