Pick one and use only it. The absolute pressure isn't as important as being consistent.
I use Longacre stuff for setting the tire pressure on my race cars. They have always been accurate, but they are also fairly expensive.
If there is one thing that always gets cooked at camp, it's a steak. It is the ultimate camp food to cook over a fire.
For breakfast, it's going to be home-ground sausage and eggs with grits.
It doesn't matter to me what you call it, but I don't consider myself an overlander, I just like to explore. Sometimes it's a multi-day multi-state or country camping trip. Sometimes it's a day trip to a road I've never traveled. Sometimes it's in a 4x4, sometimes by car, boat, or (gasp) even...
I carry a USB fan that runs off a battery bank for days. I also have a Geek Air rechargeable 12" fan that will run for 8 to 20 hours depending on the speed you set it to.
Edit to add links.
Geek Aire 12" fan. This will move a bunch of air for about 4 hours on a charge, or a little air for...
Saturday morning I spent some time on the XJ. I changed the speedometer gear so it would read correctly. I also installed the correct cables so the parking brakes on the disk conversion would work.
Sunday morning we rolled out about 7 am and put 500 miles on it beating around the back roads of SC.
I had a wheel come loose last time out. I was about 200 miles into the trip and was hearing a squeak that I tracked down to loose lug nuts. I had rebuilt both axles and installed gears and locking diffs. When I set it back on the ground I guess I got distracted and didn't torque any of the...
I'm 6'2" and 330. My preferred vehicle is an XJ. Everything about them is inexpensive and they are extremely capable. The seating room is decent, but you may need to check the head clearance. They aren't very tall.
This is my Son's XJ. Bought for $1200. We had to fix an oil pan leak and a bent...
I sunk a 15' boat in that lake when one of those afternoon storms came ripping across the lake. It sunk at anchor just off our camp site in about 2 minutes. Some of those storms whip that lake into a frenzy.
I have been strapping it to the roof rack in the bag but I'm considering getting a hard case carrier to get it out of the weather and sun. Anyone else using one or have a recommendation?
I'm thinking something like this. It would also give me a place to store other lightweight items.
I use a phone app called Legal Heat. They do a pretty good job of summarizing what you can and can't do as well as tell you which states have reciprocity.
