The NS Savannah used to be at Patriots Point Naval Museum here in Charleston. I toured it many years ago. It was removed due to upkeep costs and it needed to have the reactor decommissioned and removed.
The AT4W is right at 10 pounds heavier per tire than the AT3W in a 35" size. I just mounted the AT3Ws on my H3T because I didn't want the extra 40 pounds of rotating mass.
A Hungarian espresso maker. I came across a video of a guy using one while camping and tracked one down on Ebay.
It makes an outstanding cup of coffee and takes up very little space.
I run Falkens on almost everything. Wildpeak AT3W on the Samurai, Suburban, and H3T. I run Falken Rubitrek A/Ts on the Touareg.
In the past, I have run Goodyear, General, BFG, and Firestone A/T tires. The Falkens are better tires in every way.
A lot of it is still a bit of a mess. Even some of the main roads are one-lane in some areas. I didn't try any back roads while I was up there, but I would assume if there aren't houses on it with people who need to be extracted, they haven't had time to worry about getting them cleared.
Life is definitely good but that's too warm for me.
I'll take some 10°c-12°c. I'd much rather be in the 50s than the 80s. Colder at night is even better.
For expensive items, I'd probably use an escrow company. You send them the money. The seller sends you the item. You confirm receipt of the item and the escrow company sends them the money. Everyone is covered then. Something like Escrow.com.
That is the route I ended up taking. A Yakima SkyBox 12 Carbonite was delivered a couple of weeks ago. My plan is tent and chairs up in the Skybox and the other stuff under the tonneau cover.
I have front and rear facing Garmin cameras. The front is a Dash Cam 47, the rear is a Mini 2. They are both paired to my Android phone using the Garmin Drive app and are viewable on it.
Beyond that, there are several wireless cameras with monitor combos on Amazon.
From 285/75R16 to 315/75R16. And from General Grabbers that I never was happy with, to Falken Wildpeak AT3W. Better wet traction, better ride, quieter, and better off-road.
And of course we had to go test them.
Could be. I've had the Falkens on a Silverado, Suburban, and an XJ without any strange wear issues or noise, but I am pretty religious about rotations. It could be as simple as the guy I bought the H3T from never taking the time to rotate the Generals.
I bought an H3T with General Grabbers on it. Color me unimpressed. Noiser than the Wildpeaks. Worse wet traction than the Wildpeaks. They are OK off-road.
I hate to replace tires that still have life left in them but I'm past ready to replace the Grabbers with Wildpeaks.
