Did the exhaust manifolds on my Ram. Drivers side around 6 hours passenger side 2 hours. Drivers side the bolt heads had a bit for rusting issues and the sockets i had access to at the shop were a bit worn out. 2 broken studs required welding on each side.
drivers side sucked royally passenger...
Hi There,
The Winch worked well. I only used it once for the truck and camper when I hit a really soft section of a back road heading out to Black Lake Manitoba. it got us out fine.
I no longer have this truck as I have been running around in my 2016 Rebel. but I saw the truck last year and...
I carry a Leatherman surge, and have for almost a decade now. Its heavy but its been so handy. Before that I had a few different SOG multitools. When camping I have a old pilots survival knife a friend gave me close to 20 years ago
.
Morning, here is what I have been wearing the last year
I picked up a Garmin Fenix 6X. I put a Hemsut strap on it. I love it for all it does , and hate it for a similar reason. I choose to go to a smart watch to keep a eye on my blood ox and ticker. Not that I have anything wrong but being in my...
So, I do all my own work. I have done repairs that probably should have been warranty work, but the time frame they gave me was our entire camping season.
I too have a delam in the front turned out the leak was caused by the awning flexing.
the big problem is, I owe to much to sell it and get...
Well a short update.
First the axle is readily available. so much for what dealership told me.
secondly it may actually be covered by a lippert warranty.
If not I am really considering long leafs and a straight axle, with a shock of some kind.
Apparently this a regular failure point on Rpods...
Howdy, I posted this on Exo Portal, but seeing if anyone here has any ideas
So it looks like I bent the axle on my 2018 Nobo 16.5. The camper dry is 2980lb cargo is 1400lbs.
I always travel with water @ 300lbs and with mods repairs and such I am pretty sure I am right around the rated axle...
what are your thoughts on the GM mirrors on the RAM. Those mirrors and the auto setting on the tcase are what I miss from my Sierra. I have been really thinking about getting those mirrors
I did a thing. There is nothing available in the way of a push bar for a Ram Rebel. I got lucky and got a used one off a 2011 ram to monkey with. It took me some time to figure out the mounting issues, but, I win
nope as I understand its a ongoing problem with the way the straps are set up to hold in the tanks. Interesting though, mine turn's out to be a T tank and is resting on 2 pieces of formed light gauge angle. I feel much better with the 1x3 tube I have down the middle underneath
I am really loving this thing Grubworm. I will be honest I would loose my marbles without windows:tonguewink:, as thats one of the main loves I have with my camper, but I completely understand. I was in the Canadian Army, I couldn't imagine living in a sub, so I do think I understand your not...
I will say I am no longer seeing the screws all over the floor when we arrive at camp like i did the first few years. All the reinforcements have paid off.
the most disappointing thing about our NoBo was the bathroom. and thats now been rectified. I actually did a full frame inspection...
Well Here is a update on our 2018 NOBO 16.5.
So where to begin
Installed a Lithium Battery, found my suitcase solar was not producing near enough juice even in optimal conditions, so I installed a 295 watt panel and 30 amp solar controller last year and bam battery is awesome
Rebuilt the wet...
