    2018 Volvo XC90 T6 Momentum AWD

New to me a 2018 Volvo XC90 T6 Momentum AWD. Even has an 'Off-Road' mode. But with 20" wheels, won't be practical for overlanding. With the 2nd and 3rd row seats down, I can definitely sleep in the vehicle. I took my 'advisor' with me for her honest and unfiltered opinions.

    Kids and Overlanding

I have 3 under the age of 11. They keep themselves entertained and luckily they all get a long, sorta. They've learned from an early age that vacation equals family time, so no phones or tablets, etc. When they go out everything is basically new to them so finding stuff to do keeps them busy...

    Aloha From Kauai

Will be there in July, but not with my rig. I hear I'll be lucky if my car reservation is still on hold when I get there lol.

    Overlanding Comms (EUROPE)

Depending on what the convoy group is using, I'll have the same radio(s) on. I happen to have a three, Ham, GMRS, and CB installed. For my Garmin Inreach Mini, I would only keep that one if my wife is not with me and she needed a way to get ahold of me if I were out of cell service range.
