You can add channels on top of the deck that you use tie downs with. My frontier has channels around the bed that sit just on top of the system and I just use those to tie down what’s on top.
I installed the Decked system in my Frontier last week and love it so far. Super sturdy and after a few crazy rainstorms it’s dry as a bone inside the drawers. The toolbox they make for it fits awesome and sort of locks in wherever you put it. So far I’m a big fan.
Karl,
Thanks! I always drool over pictures of those Navaras. I’ve never seen one/ been in one in person. Sorry to hear about your mechanical issues with it—I would imagine driving around the outback is unforgiving.
I’m new here on OB, look forward to sharing and learning from you guys...
Like new Yakima Megawarrior roof basket for sale, located in Marietta, GA. Also have the net to go along with it. Only went on one trip and has been in the garage since.
$350. Local pickup.
Aero press to make an Americana. Usually bring whole beans from BRCC and grind on site with a GSI outdoors hand grinder. Takes forever but it’s a nice ritual.
I agree. Love the Frontier, this is my second one with two JKs (one Rubicon 2-door and a Sport JKU thrown in between). My only frustration is the limited aftermarket compared to Toyota’s, Jeeps, etc.
For our 4 year old son, this has also been a challenge...while his mom and I would love to sit and watch the stars and listen to the fire we have noticed that if we don't bring him enough stuff to do, it goes south. So we have a container now with baseball and gloves, frisbee, soccer ball...
Welcome! You should come up to a OB get together in Canton GA on the 23rd of November. It was just added to the Rally Point. Would love to see that rig in person.
I don’t think so yet. The system itself isn’t that heavy. I lifted it by myself into the bed (in large pieces but none were that heavy). I took a cap I had on the back off when I put that in and actually think I lost a good amount of weight.
The drawers are really solid too. They ride on...
Here is the start of my build thread! Not sure how quickly this one will go (my previous Jeep builds always sped up way faster than I anticipated)...but here is how my Frontier is now:
Just a 2.5" Rough Country leveling kit and the decked system in the back. For now. Haven't taken this out...
