Hey, thanks! There's quite a few spots to explore up there! As far as camp sites in the areas, yes there's a KOA and I believe a few others, but there is no crown land so you can't technically camp just anywhere.
Have fun!
Yes you’re right, it’s very very new. I’m sure somebody will post some more information as soon as possible.
I wonder if the maps section will be as useful as Gaia. Hope so
Hey guys, I found some more trails in the Bruce Peninsula area, some near Owen Sound. It's quite fun going out and taking some time to explore and film. All trails and locations found on Gaia.
Cheers!
You gotta get Gaia GPS - take the time and figure it out (if you don't already have it). I've found so maybe places to explore because of it and ive only had it for about a month.

Download and enable Canada backroad mapbook. It gives you ALL of canada. It's incredible. The actual book map is fine but sourcing possible trails on a desktop computer is important I think...
They're all over the place out there. If you download GaiaGPS (there is a free 3 month trial found on this forum somewhere) and add "Canada backroad mapbook" you can see all the small roads and trails. Or just buy a paper book copy of it from Amazon. I found these spots by looking at the...
As a heavy coffee drinker I have 2 ways. I have a 9 cup camping percolator that I use with pre ground coffee, but if its just me drinking, i will use Star Bucks singles. Such a fast and convenient way to get a decent cup.
I really prefer a deep and creamy espresso but i've learned to really...
Nice man. I have a 2020 Sport S unlimited - slowly but surely working at it. Trying to plan out a few freelance gigs to fund an Ursa Minor - we'll see :)
I'm obsessed with it though, drive it every chance I get and head out exploring every chance I get.
Ill keep an eye on this post...
As a Canadian in Ontario, I use the Backroad Mapbooks Canada layer almost exclusively. Is there a similar layer for the US ? Or are they divided by states? Is there a recommended brand of layer to add for all states, or does it change state to state?
Im in Toronto! Nice to find this thread.
Has anyone been to the trails at Beaver Valley? It's a bit of a drive up there and I don't know where to find the trail head.
I saw this video not too long ago and it looks like a wonderful place to explore
Cheers guys!
I'm possibly considering a trip to Manitoba (From Toronto) if the borders don't open this summer. Do you recommend any resources for finding trails and camping spots away from people?
Cheers!
I'm hoping come late July they will open the Canada / US Border. I'd really like to beeline from Ontario to Utah and spend a few weeks camping out there. Not much to explore in southern ontario!
