I have to say after owning this trailer new & many times crawling underneath, in & out of the sleeper the construction is solid & the trailer is well made. I feel these are good candidates for offroad conversions with some fabrication required. I went to the extreme with the tongue, in all...

Thanks for the kind words Eric, the Dexter Axle Flip Kit is a bolt on kit, BUT it requires tack welds too. The tack welds are on the spring seats, I also tack welded the adjustment nuts that sit against the old spring seats. I know one guy who didn't weld them, but my suggestion is to weld them...

    Coupler information

you will find different suggestions & what works for them as a good offroad hitch system. I've used a 2" ball coupler for years on offroad travels w\o issue w\ the exception of popping once in while @ steep angles. My new trailer project I decided to go with an articulating hitch system. I've...

The wallpaper for our offroad camping trailer came in today. This will go on the wall (which I'll build) that divides the sleeping area from the rear storage compartment only. New Trailer Project: Range Runner

more work on project offroad Runaway Range Runner. I wanted to use the jeep style fender & couldn't because of the existing round fenders & the holes they left. It seem that if I used the jeep fenders I would of had to raise the fenders higher than I wanted to clear the patch work of the...
