Sounds like a great trip! Are you going to continue to the Racetrack Playa from Lippincot?

    Death Valley Next Weekend - Mar 6th - 8th

I haven't done Lippincot yet but Mengel Pass was pretty easy. One of our friends brought a full size Chevy Truck through with no issues. It did require some careful spotting. Definitely some low range rock crawling but nothing serious.

    Death Valley Next Weekend - Mar 6th - 8th

I was just there two weeks ago. I did Goler Wash, Barker Ranch and Mengel Pass to Badwater. Awesome trip! Echo Canyon to Inyo Mine is beautiful too!! I wish I could go again this weekend but if all goes right, I'll be a first time Grandpa (AKA Grandude) this weekend!

    Jeep Owners Represent!

A few other of my jeeps from the past. The 85 CJ7 was my first jeep- bought brand new in 1985 and it's still on the road!. The Blue 99 TJ was my second jeep and is now owned by my daughter and her husband. The yellow 04 Rubicon was unfortunately totalled a few years ago.

Hi Grubworm, I'm glad you like the slide out board. I've built several of these units for my friends and it's proven to be a perfect design for Overland Travel. Good luck with your build!
