Yeah the only manual long bed option is an sr5 access cab 4x4, 2.7l I4, 5speed.
I pretty much refuse to drive anything but a manual. I have had to many auto trans trucks (work vehicles) leave me in a bind in the wrong places. Just don't trust them.
We have tested both here at work on a fleet of 100+ trucks that spend 95% of the time off road.
We did two 24 truck groups 12 with MT and 12 AT of each brand. So it was a pretty fair test.
The BFG KO2 tires just flat out take a beating and keep on eating. They out performed the KM every where...
Yeah I'm with you on the rivets and sealing them. I'll probably wind up with welded steel on every thing.
Rear will be a hinged door. Not fond of the drop down gate.
Yep!
Hinge plan I laid out one afternoon. Built one just as proof of concept and it worked. Wound up with a smoking deal on my current tent so I never followed through.

2) Bed liner on your new plywood platform base. It will waterproof it and...

Oh and you will not ever find curry powder any where near my camp.
What is that one meal that you must cook on a camping trip?
Also if you must have a certain food item for travel to a particular location what is it?
My must cook meal is my "Trail Tacos".
Also I won't go to the beach without a peach. Something my grandfather started 30+ years ago when were...
Sliders
Bed rack
6 circuit Auxiliary electrical distribution box. Relays are between lid and lug strip, visible through lid.
Light bar mount brackets (bad pic)
No problem. Like I said just looking out. I have seen several Toyota variants with this suspension stranded due to these spacer lifts when not done correctly. They are fine for a daily driver but a rig that is going to see regular off road use there are much better alternatives.
