Hey all,
I have a 17" Jeep TJ steel wheel - black (metallic I think) - makes a great spare - or even a kick-ass tetherball base.....
Also have the stock rear "under bumper"
(The hitch is not included)
Free to who comes and gets them.
I am about 10 minutes from Travis Air Force Base
Our Schnoodle comes with us... He just wants to be everyone's friend...
We do have either a long leash we hang over the Firestik, or a small portable pen (takes up a ton of space)... We end up not using the pen much... He sleeps with us regardless if in the back of the Cruiser, a tent or our...
If your rear axles are full floating, it probably won't hurt to have the weight on the bumper.... better low center of gravity as well....
Also, you're pulling off a bumper to replace a bumper- so there's a little weight break there...
My wife and I found some nice fun going into Sand Flat campground in Kyburz - usually even though the campground is closed, the gate is open and we go past the campground and over the bridge and we can go a couple of miles up into the woods. I think this might be the old Emigrant's Trail....
As I understand things, the FCC came down on the DEALERS.... To my knowledge, no operator has ever been fined for this 'gray area'
I'm often wrong, but that is what I understand to be true.

I was looking last night (very quickly) on the app for a referral link.... didn't see one.... maybe it's there and I didn't look deep enough.....

Kent, I had a ton of photos of Usal Road and the beach but my memory card failed! I only have a few of the 1200 photos we took :-/
However, the road in is in very good shape. Even saw a Hyundai small car right by the beach.
At the beach, tons of mud puddles too hard for cars....
We didn't do...
My wife and I are heading up towards Usal Road and the beach... Coming back into town this evening...
I'm sharing just in case something goes wrong...
We'll be on the 'Overland' channel.... 146.1460 lol
As well as the Willits WinSystem repeater if we can get it....
I'm not a legal expert.... But this clearly says it complies with Part 90. But I'm also licensed so there is that caveat.
All that being said, it's really easy to get an amateur radio license and I'd rather use those frequencies than FRS or GMRS any day.
Good luck Tundra camper
