Finally getting back to Northern Colorado

Monument Valley is so special....if you have a little time, swing off the hiway and pop over to the overlook in Goosenecks State Park, it is worth the short detour! Safe travels.

US Rocky Mountain 4th Annual JUNE JAM in Buena Vista, CO

Question for the group.................Anyone have an SWR meter? I just finished installing a GMRS radio in my Jeep this weekend and would love to check SWR.....not sure I really want to buy one though. I'll also likely have an HT by the event as well.

Looking for other participants for August in Ouray/Telluride, Rimrocker Trail, and Moab

It might be helpful to get a bit more info on your Trailhawk and any mods beyond stock in order to be more helpful in knowing where to suggest you focus your trail choices. Your list above falls into the "mild to wild" zone a little, LOL. But you are going to have a blast! Great stuff!

    Founding principles

I am interested in anything that anyone uses to get out and enjoy the world. I am NOT brand specific. I enjoy learning the paths to an end that folks have chosen and what works and doesn't work for them and why. I try to be a sponge and soak it all in and then apply what I learn to my specific...

    Hey Colorado

You MAY be able to get there at that time, but most likely there will be some snow to get through to do it......It's not exposed to the sun enough to thaw out early. However, it's a good choice of destinations. Does the RTT have a heater?

    Chevy silverado 1500 suspension ideas.

Fundamentally I'm not a Ford guy........goes back to childhood. I would say that I'm a Chevy guy at heart. However, what @MidOH stated above is the truth. Perhaps, just perhaps you are attempting to build the wrong vehicle. Food for thought.

    OnX or Gaia

I phone does have GPS, so I (prior to the journey) download the maps/routes in GAIA and onto my phone. My rig has a lovely large screen CarPlay compatible head unit on the stereo that displays the GAIA info. I was a die-hard android guy up until a couple of years ago. The fact that I could not...

    Clothing Storage

We just this past week did a little jaunt, and each used our own FrontRunner Wolfpack box for clothing and toiletries. The boxes are a tad pricey, but we now utilize several in the back of the JK for all sorts of different things. They nest/stack well and do not move around. It worked well for us.
