There are several trails that have conflicting information. We went down a few last trip that we’re supposed to be open that ended up being overgrown to the point of being closed. If there is a ramp involved I would guess it’s open.

We often bring a shade tent with us, Ive used this on my tailgate, inside my tent, on rope between trees: “S” shower curtain hooks. Hang helmets, washcloths, towels, bananas, etc
I have the $3 kit from the dollar store. Mesh bag, high lipped plate, reusable fork/knife/spoon and a collapsible cup. It doesn’t have the insulation or lids but I usually pack my raw foods in containers like that and can be used for food storage. Insulation never seemed to cross my mind.
I’ve also been considering an RTT but I have a family of 4 and a 65 lb dog who would whine until we brought him up. I also hadn’t considered how it would effect drivability as mentioned above. I don’t suppose anyone has any suggestions? I would also consider a teardrop and rtt. Maybe.
Their Instagram account said the camping was closed until April 16th. That was posted 3/22/2020. The General Store and camping parts are closed, but the security checkpoints and trails are still open. TN State parks are still open as of right now.
