Just ordered a set of the O’Reilly Off-Road CV Half Axels hear they are a big weak point pretty reasonable around $250 a piece will keep my stocks as spares will add some tire-rod sleeves when i do the install

Did some homework and wheeling this weekend in Sam Houston National Forest solo and started thinking about how I would not want to get caught in the middle of nowhere ... so ordered these CV Axels from O’Reilly looks a more robust than stock also will add some tire rod sleeves as i don’t...
I know this post is way old but I am a new joiner with a full-sized rig and just sent a request to your facebook group hoping for an add so i can learn more
Thanks again... those are some nice CV axles but considering I am still breaking in my new motor think I will get a spare stock set and keep in truck with tools for now until the budget says different

Just joined and in the process of building out my 2001 4x4 Yukon XL so far 6.5” BDS Suspension lift and 35” Nitto tires and just replaced motor to take care of leaking heads and almost bad bottom end
I am 6’3” so going to be hard for me to give up the room to go to anything smaller
Hopefully doing this right building out my Rig a 2001 Yukon XL 4x4 that I have had 17yrs started with 6 1/2" BDS Suspension lift & 35" Nitto Ridge Grapplers and just dropped in new crate 5.3L replacement motor last week
Have done lots of state park tent camping, some hunting and lots of fishing...
