@Michael...I noticed that rally point events where showing up as past events if you happened to check it the night before an event. I am guessing this has to do with the time zone being east coast is a my guess.

There is something sexy about it being on the front grill...I just might have to get me a third one made up to put it there.

I am thinking of either moving the one from the back up to under the seat or just getting a second one and mounting it under the driver seat as well. better to have it close at hand should I need it someday then have to run around back to get at it.

For me its outing specific. If I am heading out backpacking...it is the MSR pocket rocket, titanium Snowpeak or equivalent...if its out with a large group of friends it can be a 3 burner 30,000 BTU camp stove. I like to cook but I also like to play around with many different setups. I will say...

When you are paying $5-$8 per bundle from the store it adds up quickly for crappy wood. The stuff I find on craigslist has always been good and you can't beat pilling up the bed of the 5th wheel for $40-$60. Plenty firewood for the week out with friends and their kids

Yeah I see you beat me to the thread by a few minutes...lol. I have had conversations with @old_man and he is very knowledgeable on the XJ platform. Hopefully you never run into dead ends...these 4.0 are beasts!!! When I am sure it will be even better once you get it all back together.

For week long stays I have found firewood advertisements on craigslist nearer my camping spots and I get half a cord of wood from them before heading into camp. For overnight trips I can find plenty of dead fall to cut up myself or bring the propane fire ring. Gotta play it by ear on those high...

I will admit that I to have over thought some purchases for the build...darn marketing departments get me with those purdy rig pics all the time.

I had been fighting faulty oil pressure sending units for months...luckily I had lifetime warranty on them. I ended up getting one from the dealer and that one hasn't failed...I will keep the crappy Mexico one as backup now. I should have gone with the more expensive one right off the bat.
