Hard shell definitely on the LIST down the road. Just so much stuff to buy If you got the cash I would go with a hard shell iKamper, the iKamper mini will be my next RTT 100% Thanks for the comments
I 2nd the Smittybilt. U cant beat them buck for buck hands down. With that said a hard shell RTT is going to be easier to setup and take down but there 3 grand more to.
the south route is pretty BLAH so wouldn't think it would be any worse. Im with you I would think coming in on the backside of Arches has to be nice Enjoy
after you run the new northern part tell us how it was. We did the Rimrocker last yr and the Utah section isn't much to write home about. coming in the back side looks pretty COO
Ok I have 3 different website I check for this area and all are dated 7/27/20. Does anyone know of any site that has up to date info. I know it snowed enough in Silverton to open ski resort so. Going to be in the area 10/3-10/10 if passes are open if not we will head to moab thanks
Each section is setup to be 1 day (motorcycle) I did sec 1-3 in 3 days in Tacoma so it spot on, the 4th sec runs right thru 90-36-53 and if you make it as far as Grants you hit I40 you guys have tons of bailout points. As far a COVID NM has a 14 day quarantine if you come from out of...
Yes we plan to self quarantine for campsite to camp site. If we need to go anywhere near a city things have gone bad. Last time we did the 1st 1/2 of NMBDR we seen exactly 2 people "hunters" and they came over to us to see out rigs. If it gets 2 stupid we will just head to CO and UT
Did the 1st half of NMBDR a few yrs ago. Me and a buddy are headed out to do the 2nd half (Reserve to CO) Sept, 29. How was it with all the craziness. I know NM has a 14 day quarantine for travelers right now, was that the case in June.
not sure myself but this is from ADVrider site. Southern parts- plenty of primitive camping spots. Once you hit Harpers Ferry- good luck all private land, state and national parks
