I can only speak from my limited experience, but I have the MXT275 with the 6DB antenna installed in my JK. Antenna is placed via a hood mount as my CB antenna is in the same place as yours. Being in the lower placement, @Mrprotaganist and I could speak over 7 miles away in the city. I would...
Ya, know....you might be better off with the 2.0. I am 6ft even (okay, prolly 5'11"ish) and I "fit", but there isn't a ton of room. I need to check the specs, but I think the TOTAL mattress size is 6'5" x 4'3". I would check the specs for sure. The 2.0 is essentially a king size mattress, so...
Yea, $860 is a solid price for that tent. I don't think you can go wrong there. I only wish I had some time in the dang tent so I could tell you all the reasons you NEED the iKapmer... Good luck with your purchase! Post some pics when you make your choice!

I installed a Midland MXT 275 with the Midland 32” 6db antenna today in my Jeep. Upon testing, I was able to reach @Mrprotaganist about 7.5 miles away. Pretty impressed out of the gate and look forward to trail testing soon. A few pics for reference.
Using IOS. When I Navigate to the home screen and click my icon picture. It takes me to my profile; however clicking the camera icon in the top right doesn’t work and when I click on edit profile, it crashes.
23" from the top of the walnut deck to the bottom of the shelf. The walnut deck is 1", so 24" from jeep floor to the bottom fo the shelf. The shelf itself has 3 adjustment points; I use the middle one. I bought it from Vector Offroad and was a very easy install. Train Recon has a really good...
