    Walmart awning tent

Nice! I actually have their canopy tent. It works surprisingly well. The one at Walmart is $40 at my local store. The color on the one from Dick's is definitely better, I wonder if they will price match??? I know they are different brands, but identical specs.

    Walmart awning tent

Looked into these as well. They are not the roomiest but seem very quick to setup. They are very affordable and I am going to pick up one up to use as space for gear when camping, so it doesn't take up space in the main tent.

    New, with Silverado. Advice wanted.

Hey Welcome! Depending on what type of terrain you will be going on would determine what size lift/tires to go with. I would definitely recommend a level kit (your choice of shock) and some 33s. That is what I have on mine (2007 Tahoe). I would also take off the front valence/air dam as it...

Not your typical Overland Vehicle (pics)

Here’s mine. It does surprisingly well off-road. I’m sure the short-ish wheelbase is a big contributor to that. Sent from my iPhone using OB Talk

The official OTO "Ozark Trail Overland" gear thread!

What a great thread idea! As much as I would like to get all name brand/high dollar stuff, I just can't bring myself to do so. Also, I am a very hands-on/diy kind of person. So, if I can build/make it myself, I probably will, unless I just don't have the tools to do so. Here's my contribution...

    Plow Disc Cooking

Also, you can get the Southwest disc without the handles. Just need to let them know. Mine fits in my storage setup that I made, with room to spare:

    What tents are you using?

We just got this Field and Stream "4 person tent". I got it for a crazy good deal local to me (big box store) and couldn't pass it up. We haven't used it just yet, but I set it up at home and only took a few minutes. My wife, son, husky and I fit no problem. What I like about it too is that we...

Socal Meet up in Orange County?

Hey, Frank. It was nice seeing you and meeting fellow members. Here is the info for the cabin I was telling you about. Not too far from OC/IE, space for 10 rigs, space for kids to run around, etc. Looks like $100 to reserve per night, but split among people, shouldn't be too bad. Coon Creek...

Socal Meet up in Orange County?

I did Wildhorse Meadows Rd a few months ago and it was pretty cool as well. Trail head where I started: 34.174241,-116.753321 Not difficult. Only a small Rocky section on the beginning. Again, my truck is 2wd.
