Hello! Yes, the meetup in OC is still occurring and the next one will be 2/1/2020. I am going to try and make it as well.
I am also on Instagram if you want to message me there: @Tahoe.Adventures
Here is the info:
Orange County Meet-up:
Location: Steelhead Coffee - 23382 Mill Creek Dr...
Haven't been there specifically but you cant go wrong with that area in general. Depending on what trails you plan to go on, I would contact the local ranger office to make sure they are open and/or not washed out. With the rain we got this year, lots of normal trails got washed out.
I have had and continue to have MANY different hobbies, almost too many my wife says. In every industry/hobby/scene there will be people who make it seem like you have to the best of the best to enjoy said hobby/lifestyle. There will always be someone with something better than you, just like...
Just some flat steel bar (I had 1-5” wide), bend it 90 degrees, drill a hole and weld a nut (since it’s too thin to tap). Made it wide enough to accommodate any type of single stove burner.
There are A LOT!!! There are too many to list, haha. So many good trails, from easy to difficult, from mountains to desert. PM me and I can help you out!
Awesome rig! I know Honda is advertising it as an adventure vehicle, its cool to see someone actually using it for that purpose! Any plans for a lift? I believe it uses the same/similar suspension as the Pilot & Ridgeline correct?
Getting out there is the main goal and you seem to be doing it...
I actually purchased the same one, but from Amazon. Its a good little grille, especially for the price. Its not exactly the most stout or the best quality, but it gets the job done well. I will include a few pictures here shortly. If you have questions, let me know!
This is just a short dirt road that leads to a hiking trail, nothing a regular car cant make. And its just off the main road.

I believe there is still plenty of color on the trees as it hasn't been too cold and no rain for a few weeks.
Hey! Plenty of good places out here by the San Bernardino mountains. You can go to Angelus Oaks, which is just about 1-1.5 hours away from Orange County. I was just up there two weeks ago, awesome colors. You can see some pics on my Instagram account: @Tahoe.Adventures
I can give you some...
Welcome! Plenty to learn, just have to be safe and enjoy! I’m not an expert but I am willing to help with what I can, as I am sure others here are as well. Cheers!
