Take #3 at meeting up in September. We will be meeting up at Eldorado Outpost and hitting the trails. We will start easy and work our way to more difficult trails. Come on out and socialize with other local overlanders and get your truck dirty. Last time was a ton of fun so do not be that guy...
I enjoy the hillclimb there, especially the right side with the water rut. I have only had an issue there going down it with no spotter. I almost put the Isuzu on its' driver side door. Definately had it on 2 wheels, it was scary but awesome.
@tsingson the difficult obstacles are on trail #8...
I am going to move it to next weekend. It seems like it will be a better turnout. Feel free obviously to go this weekend on your own, I would join you if I could.
If you go out Monday and Tuesday I'll be waiting by my phone for your cries for help. The almighty Isuzu will be on standby...
I will not be able to go. I work in pool industry and with the incoming weather they've asked for all hands on deck to get covers on about 30 pools by Sunday evening. I can next weekend

I will be keeping tabs on the weather concerning Hurricane Irma. If it is indeed coming this way it will be expected to be here in the Carolina's on Monday. I will more than likely cancel the meetup that way people can be spending their time preparing if they confirm it is coming here.
thoughts?
that's a better question for the "North Carolina" thread. Lets limit this thread to this specific trip. I would be open to a trip in WNC given enough warning though
