I noticed some strange goings on last week while backing out of a parking space in my LR3. My lower control arm pollys decided they didn't want to participate any more. I put new ones in yesterday.
The Gulf Coast Land Rover Club went to Eglin yesterday. It had been raining for a few days and caused some nice , slippery conditions. I hope to have the video up on YouTube some time late this week.
I am in Mobile AL. Point Washington has some trails. Eglin is huge but you will need a pass to access it, although it is only about $20 per year. I have not been to Blackwater in over a decade. There is also the Perdido River WMA not too far away. Just a few trails but it does have a couple of...
Who else is a member of the 200,000 mile club? I just became a member on my recent trip to Tampa, FL in my 07 LR3. I wanted to hit the mark on a trail somewhere but wasn't able to make that happen.
I have to say that my 2007 LR3 is a fantastic vehicle. All of the rear seats fold down flat and will hold a double air mattress. The third row will fit 2 adults comfortably. I am 6'2" and have room for my knees. The rear A/C is great and the vehicle is extremely capable.

The only bushings that I would replace with the poly are the front lower control arm bushings. The rest of the suspension is on the stock bushings. It has no affect on the comfortable ride but I do find the steering less spongy on off pavement situations. The only bushings that I have ever seen...
Also, when it is time to replace the front lower control arm bushings, go with polyurethane. Makes a big difference and you will never have to replace them again.
I like your LR3 @Vince Rothermund. Welcome to the Land Rover family. I have a 2007 LR3 which will be breaking the 200k mile barrier next week. My recommendation to you is service the front and rear diffs every 15 to 20 thousand miles. Is your rear diff a locking diff? I hope you have many...
I shot some video of my last trip to Little River Canyon on Easter Sunday after church. Most of this is trails 07 08 and 09. It had been raining up there so the trials had a bit of water on them.
I was just looking into this. I am making a trip to the Tampa area (Valrico) and wanted to take my sons and nephews on a little adventure while down there. Coming from the south of the WMA, what road should I enter on? Thanks for any info.
Nice. I am glad you were able to enjoy the area. Down here in South Alabama there are very few places to legally ride. I visit the Fort Payne area often and have been driving the backcountry trails for many years now. I decided to use them for my writings. I thought GA would have some decent trails.
I wrote up that trail on Trails Offroad. It is a nice trail. 07 08 09 and 11 are offshoots of 05. It is a great area for a day trip. Visit the welcome centre on 35 if you have a chance as well.

Hello all. I have been an OB member for some time now but have not been very active in the Forums. I plan to be more active from here on. I am in Mobile AL and know some of the members in the Southeast region. I look forward to hitting some trails soon.
Hello @Kyle Phillips . I just saw you today in Mobile. My name is Charles. It's great to see another OB member here in town. We need to hit some trails together.
