In the US, you basically have to wait until it's 25 years old if it's not a NAS vehicle. There's exhibition purpose, but your mileage is restricted. I doubt you want to wait 25 years, and I doubt you want any mileage restrictions...

Totally agree. In fact, JLR just announced the reintro of factory rebuilt 70s vintage RRCs, starting & 135k quid/ 175k USD...

I hope you're experiencing the awesome EAS. If a PO converted it to shocks, you're missing out on the complete experience. The RRC EAS gives it the best ride quality on all surfaces, plus the articulation is actually better than coils.

I grew up camping with my parents first, then HS pals, then college buds. I remember all the Coleman gear my parents had, including this huge 4 person canvas tent. That was stored in our basement and was musty as heck. I really appreciate my Oz RV4 compared to that old Coleman, but I digress...
A '76 should have a vertical front grille, exposed door hinges and stamped wheels, not the tri-spoke alloys, horizontal front grill and hidden door hinges...
It is a nice RRC, but I don't think 76 were hingeless on the doors, plus the horizontal grill and wheels are wrong for a 70s vintage. I think that's prob a 90s vintage...

If you are using less than a 20 AH, you should really consider using LiFePO4 instead of SLA. The differences in depth of discharge between the two types is huge. You'll get more usable charge and battery life from the LiFePO4, plus, I will be a smaller and lighter form factor. Initial cost may...
This keeps showing up in my hometown. I finally pulled up for a closer look, and afterwards, I started to think about going on a trip in it...

Looks good. I was originally going to put an extra Yellowtop in the back of my RRC, but I've decided to go LiFePo4 for the second. This allows for a smaller, lighter battery, about only a fourth the weight of an equivalent SLA. I'm planning on placing my aux battery directly behind the rear...
L494 or L320? I'm guessing first gen, based on your parts list, but there are more bits for the L494 now... post a pic of your RRS.

Even the 300P is decent for my rig, but it's about more power for me, plus it won't be as hot, but sticking w/ the handles is probably still a good idea.

I have the 300P, but I'm probably going to pickup the 450P, as that's 100% duty cycle, while the 300/400 are 33%. The 300 has been fine, but I'm ready to go to 100%...

Looks like the AIMS PS600 has the alarm go off @ ~10.6v & shutoff @ ~10.0v. It's very possible the previous was a dud.

Most inverters are designed to shut off when voltage drops into the 10s. Based on what you experienced, you were nowhere near that.
