^^x2 on the Microstart. I've used mine to jump several cars and it holds a charge so much better than my old lead acid jump packs.

Did you do the dual battery? How did it work out?
I've been thinking about setting up a second deep cycle battery for the toys that could also be portable, like an Arkpak, but with a LiFePO4. OC, I could just get the Arkpak, drop a LiFePO4 in it and be done with it, but I think I could DIY...
Here's my homemade drawers...still in progress, as I need to finish the battery box that goes behind the drawers and I need to adjust the spacers a bit more.
Yeah, so if comfort is a high value, the Defender is not for you. However, it is far more affordable than a G-wagen, unless you're looking at an older G-wagen. Still, there's nothing like a Defender.
You have access to a much larger pool of Defenders than those of us across the pond. Over...
Was there a merge of threads here? Just read through this, and most of the posts seem to be about the card, which is very nice! But the thread title has me scratching my head, though some of the other posts make sense.
As others have mentioned, limb risers always seem to raise the most...
I swear I remember the older thread as a bit longer, but then again, I'm old... Here's my RRC from more than 15 years ago
Here's some more recent shots
LOL! I kept a spreadsheet of all my parts and cost. The danger w/ RC is that mods are not too expensive by themselves, especially compared to the 1:1 world. The problem is that they do add up, and can add up quickly. If I knew the total cost of ownership for just one scale rig, perhaps I may...
LOL! I know exactly what you mean. I used to be able to sleep in a mummy, but in my old age, I just leave it unzipped, so my legs can move. Plus, my Mtn Hw bag is so warm, i need the ventilation.
Careful, that's a slippery slope, even with an RTR. I bought a new SCX10 kit, but ended up upgrading pretty much everything to the point I had enough parts for a second build. I've spent 4x the cost of the kit, but at least the cost of mods to my 1:10 is a scale of my 1:1 rig mods...
Not inside, I believe it was in the presser, but the Truckyeah article talked about the MB marketing strategy. I'm pretty certain you're right about it eventually coming to the NA market, they just don't have a timeframe for that yet.
Keep in mind, these are targeted at existing MB customers, not existing pickup owners. Additionally, these won't be available to those of us in the NA market and it's built on a Nissan Navara platform...
Nissan Navara based, but Renaut will also sell off that platform; none of which will be available in the US, at least there's no timeframe. This will just be another ROW truck that those of us in the States won't...
