Sarge, sorry you won't make it this year. Fulltime travel is amazing, but not without it's own challenges for sure. Tell your wife that all it would take would be one trip with a nice RTT and it will change her life!
Nice we'll be coming from Texas too, but we are making the trek over a month or so. Traveling fulltime we don't travel very far each day, but we do move locations fairly frequently. We're in Corpus right now. We'll be in San Antonio on Wednesday and Austin on Friday. Hope we get a chance to...
Wow, OB #0158 you've been around a minute Dominic! Convoy 40 sounds like a blast. Last year at the mudfest that was Expo East we went in with 38 rigs from Overland Bound. We'd love to connect with a group again this year. But I think we need to arrive Wednesday because we're speaking...
Hey all! Just curious as to which of our fellow Overland Bound members are going to Expo West this year?
Adding a few photos so y'all can get to know us if you don't already.
We just came back from an overlanding trip deep into the interior of Mexico. We'll be speaking at Expo West this year...
Hola!
If you want a gringo's perspective on what it was like to travel into the interior of Mexico for an extended period and do some overlanding let me know.
We just returned from a 44 day trip and are happy to answer any questions for those considering.

We're doing it!
When your Rally Point is this far south you know it is going to be an epic journey.
Follow along on our Instagram or Facebook. We'll be posting tons of pictures of our International Overlanding Run through the interior of Mexico. Also full length articles about our entire...
We are so excited about this! Hey @Michael is this the first international OB meeting in Mexico? Surely there had to be others maybe in Baja. But have there been any in the interior? Can't wait to see y'all!
You will get your Visas at the immigration office at the border. You have to fill out the same form you’d use on a plane. Submit it with your passport and they’ll provide you the visa.
Wow, I have a lot to say here. Hope it is taken the right way. Please know that I want to encourage everyone to get out and explore as often as possible. I do realize that not everyone wants to do what we do or has the ability due to life commitments or other obligations.
But I want to...
Great to have you here Marty. Fellow Jeeper. We'd love to connect sometime. We travel fulltime but we plan to be in Florida sometime in late October / Early November of 2019. Stay in touch!
Welcome. Our "home" is Austin as well but we are only there about a month out of the year as we travel fulltime. Great to have another Austinite in the mix though!
Yesterday we met up with a local off road club called Nahuales Off Road 4x4 and they took us out to a small village called Purisima. There we were able to donate some blankets, toys, and food. Also we went and saw a pretty epic crater.
My wife wrote a pretty heartfelt article with a few photos...
I think the media just really sensationalizes every negative thing that happens. We never hear about the majority of folks who are enjoying themselves down here without any major issues of course. There's no news there. Sad you had to leave too. I coulda stayed at your place haha!
