    Sticker Rules

Not sure OP is talking about brands so much as locations - at least, that's how I read it. If so, I was thinking about the same thing. I think the average bear just puts location stickers on the vehicle and if they junk it those are gone and they start fresh with the replacement vehicle...

How do you cope when you're stuck at home?

Yes. Theres always more upkeep that could be done. Went to start my truck the other day and there was quite a rumble from lower, center/right under dash. Turned the truck off. Turned it back on than the rumble had gone away but no blower motor at all. Drove home with the windows open. When I...

How do you cope when you're stuck at home?

High Ballers. Actually I'm in the office 5 days a week at 100 miles round trip, so my weeks are full. Weekends I always think of places I want to go and half the time it oh, it's so and so's birthday and such. We've had very little fun truck travel this year, although we did hit Acadia in...

2400 miles New England 4 day weekend!

And, um, no sir. Boston is not van, truck, car, or even pedestrian friendly. Took a job well outside of town and if I never have to set foot or wheel in Boston again, I'd be OK with it I think. Not that I dont love it. Ok, I will MINIMIZE how often i go there. I just choose to live and...

2400 miles New England 4 day weekend!

That's a nice drive. Lots to see, pretty country. And it looks like a nice big comfortable ark to drive it in! Love those Econoline 4x4 conversions! Having been to all those places I can appreciate the spots you showed and the many you had not. We were just up Acadia the weekend of May 20th...

    The "NEW" Nissan Pathfinder

Just watched the video and a couple others in this. What a joke. Yes nice vehicle, yes nice "Intelligent 4wd" (sounds like AWD w options to me) but no, not a serious offroad vehicle. Great with highway snow and rain but just such a lack of clearance.

How do you make a truck bed drawer system waterproof

Ah. I suppose that depends on how it attaches

How do you make a truck bed drawer system waterproof

Stain it. Shelaq it. Make sure to get the narrow edges. Plywood is used all the time in constructing decks on jon boats for fishing. Also...what kind of covers is on your Silvy? Is it a tonneau cover or a cap? If it is a cap, and the water sneaks in between the bed rail and the cap, remove...

    Yellowstone NP is closed

Chatted with my nephew today. He's up in Gallatin Gateway. Says the bridge upstream held, so they are not entirely cut off at this point. Glad to say he, his wife and the new baby are well. But I dont know that's true for others

Planning my longest trip yet. Colorado to Canada then Mexico and back to Colorado

Not sure by your map but that hard left towards to the west looks to be in the Badlands/Black Hills/Deadwood area. All great spots leading into Montana. In South Dakota you have the stunning Badlands and then the old west town of Deadwood where Wild Bill Hickock was shot and killed. And of...

Planning my longest trip yet. Colorado to Canada then Mexico and back to Colorado

Where is it you plan to take a left and head west from in North Dakota? You may want to tool down the 191 in Montana through Big Sky to Gallatain Gateway. Gorgeous river

Thinking About Renting Out My Overland Trailer.

Love it! I sold Sno-Cones at the Boston Gaaahhden as a teenager in the 80's during the circus and some basketball. @grubworm , where do you come up with all this good stuff?

It didn't "blanket" him or even cover him. It's an attempt to "hold harmless". Sometimes they are required but they are very easily beaten.

That is, as I have called it, a waiver. A speed bump en route to a trial. As you have said, and thank God, nothing bad ever happened. I guarantee if something bad HAD happened, that non liability agreement would be as worthless as a tinker's dam. But you likely couldn't do business without it...

Also stated you knew the negatives. I hope we are not all rehashing those to you. Hopefully weve brought up items you hadn't thought of these

Thinking About Renting Out My Overland Trailer.

I see...an INSURANCE claim in your future. Some inexperienced jackweed will rent it, fall down the ladder and smack his melon in the middle of the night and sue. Maybe not the first time, but... It's like adding a plow to your pickup. If you are making money with a registered vehicle or...
