The rig I spent two years building was just stolen! Heartbroken

    Sorry this happened. Definitely sucks.

Who the h3ll wants a Maserati anyway? Gm truck is infinitely more valuable for parts or transport to Mexico.

Complete and total Kayak Noob. What do I get?

Simple is better at first but a few accessories aren't bad. Try a simple 10 foot Perception sit-in. I think the new ones have a dry well in back and may have small fishing rod holders. Or a 9.5 Swifty. That should get you going. Personally I have a Swifty and a Wilderness Systems 10 foot...

    Our biggest nightmare just happened

Correct. Taking my food out of a cooler I left outside - fault on me. Someone needs some $ quick and leaves me alone after I give them a 10-spot, ok. Sucks, but ok. We have the same law here in Massachusetts. LTC used to be issued for "Protection of Life and Property" until some dentist...

    Our biggest nightmare just happened

Yeah, I read about that. THAT'S The worst nightmare. I focused on the issue, less than the severity as things turns out. A little scary I guess

    WARNING: Capless Fuel Tanks

I had a hard time with my 14 GMC Sierra when I ever first tried it. Now my gas cap doesn't click, though it does appear to close and does not throw a code. I thought for the next time I would even put a funnel within a funnel if I had to. This is nuts but at least there's a work-around

    Successful trip to Stowe Vermont

Nice pics! Nice trip! Nice compass rose and I like that the top pinstripe is reflective. Do you have a route map or description for us?

    Our biggest nightmare just happened

I never keep money in my wallet. Never. I have my credit cards and ID's in a slim wallet in my front pocket or a zipped side pocket in hiking pants. My money - when I carry cash at all - is divided up. Some folded up in a pocket, some in another pocket, some maybe elsewhere on my person...

    Our biggest nightmare just happened

My Thundah Beagle, Scout, is a full on hunt-stock Beagle we have as a pet. He is less than 30 pounds but is all muscle and determination. He pulls like a 60 pounder. He is 15 or 16 inches tall at the withers but his bay and bark is absolutely booming! And he doesn't growl first as a warning...

Going back to a Full Size for my Overlanding

This type of post is making it really hurt to trade in my Sierra for a Subaru Forester. Beautiful

    Subaru Owners Registry

Is it due to conversion to the "British Pound"? I'll get my coat

    Subaru Owners Registry

New England, PNW and Montana and Colorado have the largest numbers of Subarus in the US. We have a ton here in the Northeast. I once got out of work a little late to see the lot mostly empty except my GMC sierra and like 5 Subarus. So I've already seen a bunch of Sport and Wilderness...

2005 sequoia build and adventures aka “turd crappley”

My God. An undercarriage like that makes a truck fetch a high price round here. Beautiful

2005 sequoia build and adventures aka “turd crappley”

Y-yikes! Having lost at least one truck to frame rot, I couldn't imagine notching

    Subaru Forester Build

The venerable GMT 800. Nice choice. Looks like a good stock specimen. Not for long, I'm betting

    Subaru Forester Build

It SHOULD surprise me, but given the fact I was surprised you sold the GMC... So here I am about to do the same. 100 miles a day taking its toll on my wallet, I'm scouting around for Subaru Foresters. And I get mission creep real bad. Stated off looking at 2012/13's then moved up and up...
