This weekend's meet-up didn't get much traction. Not sure if we'd have enough people come out for drinks/planning. However, if we get enough people to come out, I think Tysons, VA or Rockville, MD would be a good midway point for the DMV area. I am free tonight, Saturday night, or daytime Sunday.

If we follow the plan that was laid out by the other group, it would be easy for people to join for only sections of the trail since we are camping at state parks.

Yeah there's a trail that someone on OB mapped out; Trans New Jersey Trail. It's supposed to be 450 miles. It's not anything like Flagpole, it's more of a mild dirt, gravel and small pools of water. However, it's supposed to go through 3-4 state parks. I'll find some more details on it later...

Yes, that is the first site that we'll check out. If all goes well and the site is large enough and safe at night to drive into (for our late arrivals), this is where we will camp and meet on Saturday morning before heading out on the trail.

My CB is wired into a 12V (cigarette lighter) connector and thus only receives power when my truck is running. I don't have an external battery that I can hook up my CB to, so mine won't be available.
