Very cool!
edit* I have 400w of solar charging and in the sunniest situation, I've only ever seen a max realized wattage of about 320. More often it's ~250-275. For what it's worth... But it's still quick at recharging.
Has anyone installed the Wolfbox G900 rearview camera with the extended cable onto the back of a trailer? You or someone you know?
Did you have any issues with the install itself?
Any issues with the equipment?
Anything else useful to know?
Any tips on making the connection at the hitch...
Still thinking on that one. I'd like to have something thin that wraps around the backside, for the weather striping to hit. Something white and glue on. I would then put black trim around the outside edge. Any ideas?
The shower contraption was a bust. After a complicated assembly and gluing process, one of the joints came apart when trying to put the end caps on. The last end cap, of course. I gave up and ordered a Trailwash.
I ripped the zipper out of the awning cover on the last trip. They're supposed to...
I use Ironman 4x4's 270 degree awning. It seems good enough. It takes practice to effectively package it up. The wall kit is handy, with a door and screened windows. It doesn't get completely walled off though. The front edge, where the convertible roof/wall part is doesn't have velcro to make...
I'd like to join, if y'all don't mind. I promise I won't call anyone a Greenie. :) (I've joined...kick me if you need to.)
I had wondered why there seemed to be so few CO people on OB. Fruita is a bit of a stretch just to meet and get coffee, but I'm interested in Rocky Mtn events.
Took off the tire/wheel, brake caliper, and rotor...only to find out the noise maker was a plastic piece in the wheel well and not a rock rubbing the rotor. :persevere:
My newest contraption for washing. Stole the concept from a YT video, but used what my local home center had for materials and "improved" it to hold a little more water. Volume is ~6.5 gallons. I'm hoping the larger amount of black tube surface area will help it heat faster and more, but I don't...
The passenger side is the typical side for camper access, sidewalks, pull-in or pull-through campsites, etc... I recall someone else on OB saying they wish they would have picked passenger after putting it on the drivers side.
No, my boys didn't make this, but I'm sure they wish they'd thought of it... As we were driving up to the area, they saw rocks in the shape of "butt cheeks" and "4-pack abs." This was the closest the got to seeing a pen*s shaped rock.
That's close but I was specifically hoping for one that had a bracket on the top that would use the existing LPG tank holder. I might call the Tank Depot and ask though... Thanks!
That seems to be the avenue the DIY'ers go and it doesn't seem to be an issue. You have to spray an inert gas into the tank to cut the valve off, clean it out, and put a useful valve or spigot on it. I'm sure I could do that but I'd like to see if there are other options.
Hello all,
Google tells me there are some people DIY'ing this but do you know of any already-made water storage tanks that will fit in and be held in place by a single or dual LPG tank carrier? I'd like one that's square, to maximize the volume. Doesn't need to be high pressure...
Thanks!
