This weekend I ditched the gazelle and decided to sleep in my new to me xterra. I didn't use humidity or temp on the resmed but I was able to keep the jackery under the back seat which was folded down. I technically could have put the cpap under there too, but I didn't. The mix of being...
Sold my Tacoma earlier this year. I bought this Xterra (build thread and IG below if interested). Been working on it every weekend prepping and repairing, etc. Finally got 2 nights in the books and it was amazing. Loved everything about it.
It may still be uploading the HD version. Usually the video will be available to play in like 720p and 1080 will come after. Also, when you watch it make sure you have 1080P selected
We're going in late August. I see a lot of the spots that look real nice are booked but there is still places that are open. But they seem to be filling up quick.
Looking for an insider's perspective. Plan is to take a rented 30' RV (Family refuses tents) and tow my Xterra behind. I'm wondering if anyone has any must do suggestions in the area or better yet, a good RV park that's not booked to park at. Driving up from NJ so it's about a 9 hour drive...
Agree with this. I do carry a Garmin In Reach though. At least if there's an emergency I know it'll work and I can still use it to check in with my wife and such when needed.
When I sign w/ them I'll let you know. They're coming out to see me on 4/11 so I'll have paperwork and such to do. Dometic owns Zamp solar so that's part of the deal too which will be cool. Funny how I was able to find uses all of this for the HD industry.
You never know. I've been planning Canada for years but now w/ restrictions and such those plans are on hold. I'm also working to sign on w/ Dometic. So that'll come in handy haha
I put the shower tent on last night actually. It's not done yet I got tired and it was a PITA to mount. I just got a stock group 34 battery. I'm a parts director where I work and I just signed with interstate so the battery is like $75 for me so I figured why not?
Shackles, front 5100's to replace the horrid nismo shocks, sliders which aren't due in until god knows when, rear ladder. Then on the ladder I'll mount my propane bottle and storage bag. Dometic fridge, zamp 100w solar panel and controller, new interstate AGM battery. I think that's it for now...
I would 100% start w/ the pressure switch. Mine failed while I was on a beach in the middle of nowhere and had to limp miles to a compressor at 15 psi. It happened when using my 4 tire inflator. Either way, the pressure switch is easy to get to and cheap to buy. I actually have one if you need...
