I'm a fan of the pic you posted. Good stuff.

    rago modular storage panels

I am not sure about the others but the cargo cover is not compatible with the Rago. It can probably be modified but I have never seen the cargo cover so I don't know how it attaches to confirm

    Recommendations

4Runners.com is another forum without all the egos. I have the LFD full aluminum rack and it has been great. I have a Eezi-Awn Blade mounted to it full time. The Blade probably won't fit you too well. With your height you would definitely fit better into a fold out style like the CVT...

    rago modular storage panels

I have them and like them. Got them a long time ago when they first came out on a group buy. I also love my paper towels attached at the top, so handy.

    Dangerous situations!

That's funny! But I have a feeling that if there was a lion in your tent you would have been woken up as you were being dragged out of it. :flushed:

How many carry a dirtbike along with your rig?

I carry either my CRF450L dual sport or the dirt bike (a Sherco 300i) if riding the trails or track, on a hitch carrier. Works great.

Tesla Cybertruck - What do you think?

Still think Teslas offering is a complete joke. Bollinger would be my choice if I was into an EV offroad vehicle, which I will probably never have since they have out priced these things that are actually worse for the environment IMO. HOME - BOLLINGER MOTORS

Tacoma vs 4Runner for overland build.

Well I am mostly by myself so I have plenty of room. I also usually carry a dirt bike with me on a hitch rack and have all the riding gear, etc., for that and still have room. I guess it also depends on how much stuff you need to bring and whether or not you have back seat passengers or not...

    Sticker Etiquette

I don't have stickers you can see from the outside of the vehicle. I put them in the door jams now and on the cooler. Really anywhere except on the outside of the vehicle.

Tacoma vs 4Runner for overland build.

Although there is no perfect vehicle my 4Runner checks a lot of the boxes. I do miss the bed sometimes after owning 4 Tacomas but I bought a utility trailer for homestead duties and am building an off road trailer for all other duties. I have a RTT on the 4 now. If you stick with the years of...

    Mr Buddy Heater Yes/No

Senseless killer -- Wisconsin Natural Resources magazine -- August 2001 RV Catalytic Heaters: Yes, They Can Be Used Safely While RVing | The RVing Guide I read a few articles that say they don't produce any like you mentioned. Crazy how mixed the info is out there on the inter webs but they...

    Mr Buddy Heater Yes/No

I am voting no on this one. Not exposing myself or my family to elevated levels of CO even if those levels are deemed safe enough to not kill us. It can't be healthy long term.

The Slumberjack can also stand alone. It's a great product for the price.

    Tesla Cybertruck

That tesla "truck" has to be a joke. Was the design team leader a two year old? All this hype for that? Horrible! Buy a Bollinger if you need an EV truck. HOME - BOLLINGER MOTORS

    Need advice on a rig

I vote 4runner for a do it all compromise of the things you said you would like. It really is a great vehicle. Could also add an off road trailer to the mix to make up for any shortcomings the 4runner may have with carrying all your stuff along with the family. The new Tacoma is just not...
