It's been a rough year and a half. With my wife already having PKD and then being diagnosed with Breast Cancer I have not spent a ton of time online. I did get a few thing done on the Tacoma when time permitted. Not sure when we'll be able to go out (have one day tickets to Overland Expo)...
Food is one of the mainstay of overlanding. It gets hard when you have to deal with special diets but can be overcome with prep and thought. My wife's medical condition has lead her to be Gluten intolerant. It has effected not only the way we pack but what we pack.

Tried to look as some RTT this weekend but sellers seem to be real flaky here. Added a OB member patch to the roof and picked up a new IFAK for the truck. Will need mine personal one back for up coming TDY's
.

I do most of my own wrenching and fab work, I will usually outsource the alignment, tire mounting and oil changes( time saver). Have for years but that is me, not everyone has the equipment or skills. Do what you can or can have someone help you with and have fun doing it, thats what its all about.
Installed 2019 TRD struts/springs, 3/4inch spacer, PSC upper control arms 2019 TRD rear shocks and new inner/outer tie rods. Still want to replace the rear leafs to get rid of the 1" spacer but waiting to see what the weight of everything is going to be.

So far we have put a rear bumper on it after my wife got bumped in it last Dec.
New to this this group but not to overloading. I have been overlanding in one for or another since the 90's when I was station at Holloman AFB. Have had a few vehicle over the years. Just starting our new to us 2009 Tacoma, our first Toyota build. Can't do as many of the rough trails as we...
