Off road trailer camper or off road van

Thanks I use a Schumacher 1224 heater. About $35 at Camping World or online. I built a little bracket so that the heater can be quickly taken down and stored during the summer and when travelling. Works good to take the chill off in the small cabin.

Off road trailer camper or off road van

My trailer is really convenient and doubles as a storage place for gear in the winter. I have taken it into some pretty rough spots behind both my pickup and Jeep. As mentioned above, the ability to drop the trailer and go exploring/or on a beer run is nice. I built this based on a basic used...

    The beginning (Ram 2500 Build)

I built this rack for 2012 Ram 1500. I wanted a prerunner style rack but couldn't justify what they get for them. This started out as a Harbor ladder rack and hitch cargo tray. Tire mount swivels up and down so that you have full use of the bed length.

    Carburetor vs. Throttle Body Injection

Having wheeled with both over the years, here is what I have found: With a carburetor the positives are - less cost, simplicity and ease of trail side repairs, Even if something does go wrong, you can usually limp it home. The negative is the potential need for tuning due to extreme elevation...

    Things just got serious

Congrats, very cool and a Rubicon! Good luck with the Portland traffic, I sure don't miss that. If you get this way and have some time, holler, maybe we can go bum around in the desert.

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Went on a family outing to get Christmas trees. Kinda cool, both of my boys went. With them not living at home and working long hours, it's rare for both of them to be able to hang out at the same time. And a little hot chocolate.

    Sticker Etiquette

I don't know that there's any correct sticker etiquette. To each their own. It's your rig, do what you want. I have these on mine and am not concerned about what other people think of them.

Post pictures of your camp kitchen

Here's the one that I built in the back of my BackPacker. It originally only had a countertop and sliding cabinet doors.

    Central Oregon Wolf Spotted

Yes, attacks on livestock have increased. https://www.opb.org/news/article/oregon-wolf-population-increases-along-with-attacks-on-livestock/ The Oregon big game populations has remained fairly steady with fluctuations due to winter kill based mainly on harsh winters. This could very likely...
