Yesterday I added an uber cheap folding table to my swingout.

I've been transitioning the HDX totes that I was originally using and reorganized the majority of my gear into 2 Plano 1919 boxes, but I still had some stuff that was infrequently needed in the HDX totes. I was camping last weekend and it rained on my way there and then periodically off and on...
I have been using an older RCA 10" tablet loaded with GAIA linked to a Bluetooth GPS puck. The tablet and RAM mount have proven to be adequate but bulky. Yesterday I picked up a Lenovo 8" from Walmart and plan to use that. I need to see if it has internal GPS or if I will need to keep using the...
Just as the H2 shared a lot of parts with the 2500 series trucks. BUT, I ran into a few situations with mine where off the shelf GM parts wouldn't fit the bill, so the repair shop would have to hunt down parts to complete repairs.
Tough situation to be in. I was looking at an H2 and an H3 back in 2010. I hadn't fully made up my mind when it came time to buy, but the decision was made for me when the H3 I was leaning toward was sold by the time I got back to the dealership. Downside was that I started driving an H2 about...
You are more than welcome to join. I'm hoping to get at least one person that's familiar with the area to join in, but if not, I've got the route loaded in Gaia and exploring is half the fun.
With my old TJ, I used U-Bolts/muffler clamps to attach a 48" across the rear bars. With my Taco, I have rollbar brackets that I drilled out to fit 1/2" bolts. It was originally on my bedrack, but I moved it to my swingout.

I'm taking a couple of weeks off in November and am putting together a trip to and from Overland Expo East that will include completing the Georgia Traverse. From there, I'll be heading south through Talladega National Forest, then heading home.
I'm coming from Cocoa, FL so my plans include...
Thanks! I'm still in the planning stages, and since I do plan on making it to Overland Expo it makes sense to take advantage of the time I'll be in that area.
This is something I've been considering doing solo either the week before or after OE East in November. I have a feeling it might be a bit crowded though.
