Good haha I’m pretty new to this and haven’t found anyone from Alaska yet. Is this app mostly for people in the lower 48

The app is world wide... there just aren’t a lot of members up in Alaska. @beyondthepavement is trying to get more members up in Alaska. If you have any ideas on getting more people active up there be sure to send him a message. I also can help send out messages on a larger scale.

Just an FYI the app is only a few months old, and most of the data in it is populated through the website, although more and more features are being implemented weekly.

That’s one of the bugs in OB1... two ways to find him... “beyondthepavement” in the app, or go to beyondthepavement

So you might need to log into OB on web browser instead of the app...

Just wanted to see how many people are looking to do meetups here in AK at the moment haha

it has been hard to do a meeting due to the 6 foot rule. i am planning to do something outdoors this summer. I would like to find someone in the anchorage area to help do meet ups down there. we did have a meeting right as covid hit but haven't since. we could do a zoom meeting.

I’m doing a cars and coffee meetup if anyone wants to come. It’s this Saturday from 8am to 11:55am if you and anyone else wants to come. It’s on the board for meet ups right now. Also I can be a host here in anchorage. I don’t mind leading some meetups

i would love to join but its a 6 hour drive one way for me (fairbanks area). its awesome that you are doing a meet up just follow social distancing rules. let me know how it goes.

I’ve had no responses to it yet after two days so we will see who shows

dont give up. it was not easy to get things going up here.
I will get with you and help you locate members down there and set up a second meet and greet. maybe i can possibly attend that one.
