Hi XRoads, I have an 07 Pathfinder with some mild mods that have served me well. The one thing I would recommend is getting some stock Pathfinder Off-Road skid plates. They are light weight and arent designed for putting the weight of the vehicle on them, but they do a nice job protecting the exposed vitals: gas tank, transfer case, oil pan.
