  • Hump Day Check In
Got some computer work done and now using my fancy calf compression machine to help my leg swelling. Wonder what people would think when they hear the air pump and release in the middle of night while camping… LOL
It’s been a long, good and productive day. Of course the wind in Oklahoma is horrible for vehicles on the road. Wish I was camping on the stars right now.

Wind is to be expected in Oklahoma but I am about done with this 30mph+ sustained and gusting to 50mph+. Keep both hands on the wheel.

Yes sir! The wind is crazy around these parts. Still a little gusty today but seems to settle for the weekend.
Spend last two days wrenching on the Element to change out the VTT. Would’ve been a lot quicker that I’m not stripped the heads of the bolt in a hard to see place between the engine and the firewall.
Managed to finally get it out and took Elvira for a test drive and No Codes!
Enjoying some warm fabulous weather in Oklahoma before Mother Nature cools down for snow this weekend along the I40 corridor. Then back to 80F next Thursday for the Lunar Eclipse!
Today I visited a nearby lake managed by OK Wildlife Dept for a meetup next week for the Lunar Eclipse. I was shocked at the amount of trash that people leave behind. I'm not an avid outdoors person but I'm trying to spend more time in nature and witnessing the disregard of this Oklahoma natural public space resource made my heart ache.
    Welcome to Wednesday!

The weather is beautiful outside but there is too much to do on the computer with web designs. Is anyone else dealing with "work" interfering with the need to be outside and unplugged?
It's late and has been an excellent day. Got a bit of work done this morning and then spent the after and evening with @Kenny_Boy then @SlimJimOKC and Mackey showed up to our Red Dirt Photographers group at 6 PM downtown OK.
Posted some images on Instagram of the event -
    Enjoy- Dixie
Printed some hand-outs for Rigs & Coffee in the morning. Tired from a long day but so excited to meet other members, swap stories, and drink coffee!

    Welcome to Monday!
Tonight, Oklahoma is bracing for a winter storm that should break cold temps in the state. Sounds like many are predicting -25F Wind Chill Factor. I will have to get outside tomorrow morning and start up the little rig and maybe bust through some small snow drifts!
Happy V Day to Everyone! While my love is working, I’m taking my “mistress” on a short road trip! LOL. Fun Day with the Honda Element on Sugar Creek Loop west of OKC.
The first little ice storm of the winter struck Oklahoma City last night, and made the roads extremely dangerous and unsafe. Most businesses closed for the day entirely along with local schools. I spent most of my day on the computer, and feel like I am further behind than I did when I started. I hope everyone is ending their day safely.
Posted my first “Rigs & Coffee” last night and very excited to meet other local members. But it’s Monday and got to take care of business today so… time to caffeinate up and seize the week!
Good Morning from cold, windy and gray central Oklahoma. Today would be a great day to connect with others over a hot cup of coffee. Where are all the Okies?
Signed up for Midwest Discovery Route for April 25 leaving from Tulsa, OK. Excited for some backroads and meet people.
Today was incredible weather! I think the high was 85F. Crazy for the first week of February.
Between errands and computer work, I managed to get the Element over to Valvoline for a much needed oil change.

Anyone else enjoying the warmer weather?
Doing a few minor upgrades to the Element today, then blew a fuse tonight while trying to install LED dome lights. Maybe it will be better to do tomorrow in the daylight. Lol.
