    After a wonderful May outing with Fortune Bay Expedition Team in Mackinac Forest and Pigeon River Forest, I enjoyed a weeklong June trip into the Ottawa National Forest in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Got in a lot of trail exploration, hiking, and dispersed camping. It's a good life!

    I enjoyed an excellent outing with Fortune Bay Expedition Team in the northern lower peninsula of Michigan. Dispersed camping, some hiking in the Mackinaw State Forest, fishing, and some amazing culinary experiments over an open fire. Next up is exploring some USFS tracks in the Ottawa National Forest in the western Upper Peninsula in June. I continue to travel in a fairly nimble manner with a Jeep JKU that has a RoofNest rooftop tent. The adventure continues!

    Greetings from Grand Haven, Michigan. I look forward to getting on the CDT in 2023. Just starting to get my mind around it with a few others who I will join for the adventure. Jeep Rubicon 4dr that is getting some mods as I move toward 2023.
