Ok I'm still trying to figure it all out how do I see rally points?

Are you using the OB1 App or the Website? In the App you see a calendar symbol at the bottom. Tapping it will take you to the rally points and you can then filter by region. In the webversion you can click on Rally Point and filter on your region then (Events Archive - Overland Bound).
