A word of caution. The section that's often talked about being muddy and often impassable just to the east of Big Sandy Lake in Northern Wisconsin is not featured on the Forest Service Motor Vehicle Map. It hasn't been legal to drive that section for many years.

First off, excellent choice in vehicles! Second, don't make the mistake many do, don't confuse overlanding with off-roading.

Your safest bet would be to get a kit that includes all the right gauge wires, relay, and switch. People very often miscalculate the amps being drawn through components, especially switches. Many will have lights that draw 10 - 15 amps and direct it through a switch that's only rated for <5...
