We my brother and I are in our mid 50's we like to explore with our two dogs in the past we did quite a bit of camping, back packing and Geocaching and four wheeling in New England. We put around 250,000 miles on a Toyota FJ Cruiser I was sad to see it go but it is still in the family so I get to see it now and again. We are new to Overlanding but have many of the skills already. We plan on starting slow with a Ford F150 w/ Four wheel camper in the bead our almost stock suspension KO2's and rear locker. We plan on making changes as we find a need.
Just got the camper second day we headed for a 200 mile trip. 40 of the miles were on un treated logging roads cover in snow and ice in Maine and New Hampshire. Had to clear away the snow so we could cook steaks over a campfire, had a blast. Now waiting for the next adventure probably next spring.
