I have been an avid off-roader for 29 yrs. Growing up in Minnesota and relocating to Colorado I’ve spent over half my life here. I started out exploring old mining roads and forest service roads camping, Mountain biking and back country hiking/skiing Snowboarding that evolved over time into Rock Crawling and traveling the southwest to find the most difficult trails in the country. Now I’m older and wiser and have young girls that enjoy doing those adventures I started out doing 20+ years ago.Ive sold the rockcrawler and have the Tow rig that we will use for “overlanding” I think safe off-roading is a necessary evolution you start out with making sure you have the basic safety equipment. Then hit the trails explore and enjoy the freedom.
