The Athletic Academic
I've loved the call of the road my entire life. It wasn't until I started taking trips to various places and camping that I realized I was overlanding. A few years ago I went offroad with my 2-WD Mitsubishi Lancer to get out of a spot and started to realize there was so much more. That's when I started discovering that what I did was overlanding. With my JKU "The Hound" slowly getting outfitted, I'm starting to learn how to explore and find the more remote locations.
Ultimate Goals: Trip to each border and ocean over the course of one summer. Creation of a Florida Overland route.
My jeep is a daily. I'm a college professor who also likes to compete in endurance athletics. I will go for runs, swims, or bike rides on these trips. I've adopted the nickname "The Athletic Academic" as a result.
