Relatively new to the "Car camping with significant off-road capabilities" community but a long time backpacker, bikepacker, hiker, camper, mountain biker, explorer/adventurer and general lover of the outdoors and maybe a bit of a gear geek. Enjoy wheeling, especially when it gets you places you cant get a vehicle to otherwise. Professional pilot with a great schedule but for every other weekend and 1 solid week/month. Prone to spur of the moment sub 24/single RON trips locally and hoping to become part of a network of like minded people.
Recently traded my 'restored' '99 Amigo for an '06 T4R V8. Nice upgrade! 2.5" lift/FJ wheels w/33" Nitto G2s (for sale),/Magnaflow/Rhino Rack Pioneer. Waiting on Shrockworks Winch bumper w/SB 10k Winch and Baja Squadron Sport, Cali Raised kickout rock sliders, Gobi ladder (more for mounting stuff than climbing), F/R cameras, yada, yada, yada...
Very open to forming networks for support, outings, impromptu trips or meet ups. Future plans include CO/UT trip and NE TN/S KY exploration.
