Mechanic for the last 12 years, found a few overlanding type youtube channels that really sparked an interest in doing it myself. Use it mostly as a means of travel from place to place, not just for camping. Like hunting, fishing, mountain biking, road cycling, archery and shooting sports. Amateur Radio General class, call is KF0EWC, in the Sioux City area. Also have started volunteering with Woodbury County IA Emergency Management, and utilize my vehicle as my emergency response vehicle. My vehicle is a 2006 Toyota 4Runner that I had initially built for family on a long road trip through the United States and Canada. I got the vehicle back when they were done, and started building it more and more. Roof rack, tire carrier and swingout, mud terrain tires, light bar, winch, low profile bumper, new shocks and struts, and have just recently added a Starlink dish and router. Overall it has been a very capable vehicle.
