I think I have been overlanding or 4wheeling as it has been called in the past.....I am talking 70s-80s..... for most of my life. I went with my dad on week long trips on pipelines, mountain trails and dirt roads in the southeast. It would be teams of F-150s, Jeeps, Land Cruisers, Blazers, and Broncos. I always had so much fun doing that. When I could drive on my own and support myself I fixed up a Bronco II and started going everywhere I could. I was privileged to serve our great nation for 21 years and have been able to travel in Africa, the Middle East, and all over Southeast Asia. Lots of not so safe overlanding. I graduated to a 98 Tacoma....99 4Runner...and finally the Sportsmobile. My family and I have taken many US trips (45 States so far) in all three vehicles with a couple of trips punching into Canada for a couple of weeks. I am always planning a new trip and will keep going as long I am still breathing and able.
