I work till 10pm Tuesday, but off Wednesday and Thursday this week. I get 1 weekend off about once every 8 weeks now..

I had asked for this past Saturday a while ago to hit URE with some old friends. Was muddy, slippery, lots of traffic, and the Forest Service was out in force. I got high centered on trail I typically run solo, but made for a good time. I am a stock Taco on 32’s. I probably won’t venture back...

Still trying to make some sort of meetup. Work has recently told me no weekends or weekend days off until after July 4 sometime. I’ll get lucky sometime?

Brown Mtn closes Jan 1st I believe..Gulches is in SC. Flats is in NC-but not sure if I am ready for that one? LoL! Looks like you could have some trail damage from that one..

I believe I saw somewhere it was mapped on Gaia but can’t remember where it is..Go to Facebook and search the group North Georgia Overlanders. I am sure someone there may can be of assistance. I am trying to actually find some way and ride with them sometime..Good luck!

May look at some of the Georgia Traverse? Runs N. GA..then you can go north through the mountains and hit Hurricane Creek/Max Patch in Western NC..Old NC105 runs along the Gorge and falls near Linville,NC free camping overlooking the Gorge(1st come).Lots of attractions once you hit the mountains!
