Novice Overlander. Have been active in the outdoors all my life. Started backpacking in the 70’s. Spent several summers in Ouray Co. In fact, there used to be an A-frame cabin near the junction of Governor’s Basin and Yankee Boy Basin just below TwIn Falls. Spent most of one summer there in ‘73.

Hike/backpack the Big Bend area and Guadalupe Mountains NP about twice a year. Try to get one trip out of state too. Time and age are taking their toll so wanting to move to an overland trailer to match with the 4Runner so I can still get out there without lugging a 30 pound pack!

Love outdoor/landscape photography.

Anxious to share what little I know and learn from all of you.
