    RLD Canopies

Thanks. I’m familiar with the RSI canopy. I prefer the RLD since it doesn’t come in pieces that are assembled. Opted to go with an ARE CX-HD. Not as strong as an RLD but the CX-HD has a 550 lb dynamic rating so more than enough for me. Just wasn’t a fan of the fit between the cab and the...

    RLD Canopies

I have a Leitner like rack system on my Ford F150 but looking to swap it out for a canopy/topper. ARE has their CX-HD line that can handle a 550LB dynamic load but also looking at the RLD canopies out of South Africa. Did a quick search on the forum but didn't find any previous comments or...

2019 Ford F150 3.0 Diesel pusher - Dual Battery Options

RV Service shop I went to recommended that as well but still working through the use of a Redarc Manager30. They just wanted to use an isolator switch and I want the ability to recharge the battery using solar and possibly shore power. On the frame will help with space in the bed.

Excellent. I'll follow your thread. You have some good ideas that I hope you don't mind I pirate. My goals are similar. Mine is my daily driver as well, so no plans for rock crawling or extreme 4wd trails either. I like what you did with the BuiltRIght molle panels. With the Decked system...

2019 Ford F150 3.0 Diesel pusher - Dual Battery Options

Redarc and Blue Sea Safety Hub 150 are what I plan on using. What is the dimensions of the Lund box? The folks at Overland Power Solutions were proposing a build using a NOCO 8D Commercial Battery box that is 21x11.8x 10.3 and thought that was going to be a little cramped and limit expanding...

2019 Ford F150 3.0 Diesel pusher - Dual Battery Options

Mine is like your 3.5 EcoBoost. No extra real estate under the hood. They have a good size AGM in the diesel but unless I want to mess with the air box, there isn't room. Hadn't thought about the rear seat but definitely an option to keep it out of the weather. I asked Redarc for some ideas...

Auto maker customer service. Have you had great experiences?

Fortunately I have had good luck with my local Ford and GMC dealers. Nothing crazy outside of normal scheduled maintenance though. Little disappointed on mods they will do that are Overland related. Asked them to put in a couple of 12v plugs in to the bed of my 2019 Ford F150 and they...

Checking in from CO. Just starting my overland project with a 2019 Ford F150. My wife and I had planned to buy a motorhome and explore the country. I lost her to breast cancer last Aug, but in her honor, I'm starting this quest. Her definition of camping involved power at the camp site...
